I have a couple of the 130 Amp alternators for 4.0's in my stash. Haven't had a 4.0 in about 10 or 11 years though, LOL.

same for me as well lol. 2012 I traded my 03 ranger in on my 07 F150. That ranger didn't give me a lick of trouble, only 'issue' i had was a cracked vac line and the subsequent lean codes that there was a TSB for.

bought it in 09 during my sr year of high school with 30k miles on it. drove it through college and the following year and then traded it in with i think 80k miles. Yes those trucks were beyond archaic by then but damn they were Toyota reliable

This SOB'n site isn't advancing pages for me again.... I either have to make a new post (like I am right now) to advance, or clear out my cache. Super annoying!

My Buddy had a 93ish Buick Century... I think that's the same drivetrain, isn't it? Anyway... he's my transmission buddy. He had someone bring it for a quote, and he told them 1200 to rebuild it, and they didn't want to. So, he bought it from them for a couple hundred, fixed it, and sold it for 1500. It seemed like a pretty decent car.

yep same basic car. The Ciera, Chev. Celebrity, Pontiac 6000 and the Century were all the same car. Mine had the 3300 V6 and the 3spd auto. I wish i had the OD trans as at 75 MPH it was screaming. Paid 600 for the car with 170K miles, drove it for a year and put 30K on it and then scrapped it. Even passed PA inspection with flying colors

I loved teasing him about driving a grandma car though. I think that's actually why he sold it, LOL.

He's driving another Buick right now though... it's a 2017ish Regal. He always parks it in the hybrid stall. I always tell him gas and feet don't count as hybrid.
