Denso is/was the OE supplier for a lot of ford sensors/electronics

FoMoCo itself makes no parts for its vehicles. They buy them from parts manufacturers Denso, Bosch, Federal Mogul, Timken, and *gasp* even Dorman, etc made to standards Ford gives them

As DJ said, they are Ford's current supplier for DG508 coils. It has been Visteon in the past, but Denso is a better product IMO anyway.

and Motorcraft filters are made by purolator, Except they are just a bit different than the purolator filter you can go to your local parts store and pick off the shelf. Ford has a patent/copyright on their filters. So the A/M have to make them just ever so slightly different. So while on the outside it may appear to be the same, the inside could be vastly different

And that's all you need to know about Denso. Anything good enough for Toyota is good enough for anything else.

Some azzhole is trying to hack one of my accounts. I keep getting notices saying one of my accounts is locked because of too many incorrect password attempts. I've reset it 3 times now. Kinda thinking that might be why they keep trying.

My Toyota has 205K on it. The alternator, water pump, rear shocks, brakes, and tires are all that have been replaced that weren't a direct result of a car accident. My sister wrecked it twice before I got it, and I found a bad/broken resistor for the cooling fan. It currently has a NAPA resistor that's intended for a Chrysler ignition. It was almost the exact value (1.25 ohms vs 1.3 ohms), and at the time it was 100 dollars cheaper.

Not counting all that maintenance stuff, my wife's Rav4 needed exactly ONE repair in 7 yrs and 150kmi. My old Lexus needed exactly TWO repairs in nine years before it was totaled at 210kmi, and it was $5k.

I'd see about getting them to lock it indefinitely until the attack is over.
