I went so far as to paint the area around the plastic hold-down clip for the hood prop rod black because I didn't like the red showing around it through the black plastic cover. I also painted the brackets for my Redline Tuning hood struts body color and removed the branding stickers for a more OEM look. Little details add up.
Another one: My alarm LED lives in a bubble that I snagged from an 04 F150 and blended into the defroster vent cover. A very factory look. (Did the sane in the '03 F150.)

reminds me of when i had the thunderchicken. the PO threw a cheap maaco paint job on there(actually looked decent) but the underside had all kinds of over spray, took a good half a day and painted the whole underside..see if i can find the pictures...
crap i don't have them anymore but this by far was the worst damage on the car, never ever let a leaking battery in your car, thank you to whoever did that and then just put a little 500 CCA battery in to spin over that 429

The guy that painted mine had very little overspray. He did an amazing job. I still can't believe I only paid 2500 for that paint job. His wife literally scraped all of the old paint off with a razor blade.... it was one of Ford's flaky white paint jobs. He removed the front and rear bumper covers, wing, ground effects, tail lights, fuel door, etc. to paint it all. He also re-shot all of the black a semi-gloss, just as I wanted. Dude was fantastic at painting.
