Cannot find, 80,000 ton.
On an F150, I'd settle for 1 ton.
3/4 would be a definite help.
My boss had a place that would de-reg a truck, legally, to under 26.000 lbs, so a "normal" could drive it. So upgrades, in some states, would need to see a door sticker or such.

Michigan has the highest truck weight limits in North America, that can be utilized on a regular basis, with a limit of 164,000 lb gross weight limit, and truck trailer combinations limited to 11 axles.

BTW - That's about 80 ton....82 to be exact.

How do we all add 500-1000 lbs, (not Sterling,) and - get a legal sticker for that? Mebe imposserous, or the 7700 would not be taller, which seems to be the frame height. Makes sense.

I MIGHT be available to write, if you can find a place for me. Fix them thar typos 'n all that... Know whud ah mean?

It was a Gravel Train or very similar to one that had no brakes and couldn't stop. That's was the reference.

For the 150's , wouldn't want to tow much over 2500 lbs.

What's going on , not usually tired yet...head scratcher.

You did, in theory, get an extra hour's snooze time. This was maybe the first time I really enjoyed that.

Well, towing is one thing. I'm desirous if more carrying capacity. Few campers are light enough for a 150. Some states will see an outta state plate and go out of their way to ticket you. And really, there's just no extra margin. The 250-Light Duty, aka, 150- Heavy Duty, which became the 7700, was a nice in-between idea. I've only seen one, and it was for sale. A lot of bed room was lost to the CNG tank, it being dual fuel. I don't need a 250. But a 150 is just 500 lbs too light... sometimes. Old days, I wuda done it. Now, any accident, they'd hang you just on that minor "overload."

MAYbe, one day I can upgrade the front discs to vented and dual pucs.
