The reason you will see less and less 2 door vehicles is that they all have to meet a certain MPG per person, and 2 or 3 people vs 4 or 5 changes the figures widely, so the 4 doors are going to be almost 100% that way from now on. The 2 door SUV's Pickups and such will be an oddity, not the norm.

The Everest (probably the Bronco of the future) is a hell of a rig in Australia. We have a friend who has one there, and goes everywhere the Range Rovers are going he says. It is bigger thant he Explorer and more power, so I think I'll wait and see for sure if that is where they go with the Bronco before saying nay.

I know you are right but my nostalgia is flaring up again. Lol

The everest is a very capable machine from what I have seen so I definitely won't knock it.

My Buddy hooked me up with a bottle of this Motor Medic radiator flush. Guess I'll give that a whirl. Seems like I've seen Brewster mention Motor Medic products before.....

Brewster did you do a write up when you replaced your rocker? I tried looking to no avail..... looks like I'm going to be replacing atleast a portion of mine... the angled bottom parts are getting soft but I looked through the mount holes it doesn't appear to bad.... noticed a brown spot so I poked with a screwdriver very lightly and well.... it went right through so I'm not sure how long I've got left before they actually start forming holes....

Motor Medic, Gunk, Radiator Speciality are all the same company. Not bad for a flush, but I don't think it will get it all, if it is really bad. I hope it works White.

Remove front fender and doors, drill out old rocker spot welds, cut the first layer of metal on the spots that are joined with the body, fix inner rocker rust, weld up new panel/do some working to get it to fit right, paint, reassemble. It's really pretty easy

Looks good! Only part I'm worried about it color matching it. My rust isn't nearly that bad but it's getting soft for sure

You look like you have it under control there Zebra. I was wondering what you did to the rear corner inner panel on the left side. It had so much rust and holes, so did you change that out too with new metal? Inquiring minds, you know. Looks good.

Yeah my grandpa is in classic car restoration and he's been doing body work and paint for 45 years lol. He took the paint gun and blended it free hand and it looks spot on. If I were you, I'd just bedline it on the bottom. My tires throw rocks really bad and it's chipping the paint away slowly.

The back area where it meets up flat with the other piece all I did was take a wire brush too it and then grinder and got all the rust out. The support piece that's all tore up I did the same but ended up cutting out the rust and just pairing what was left. That support doesn't really seem like it has much purpose and my grandpa looked for a while and said that it wasn't needed either. Saves the work of trying to weld up to it as well lol

Don't wanna hijack you ak, but where can I get the transmission vent tube? The one that bolts to the bell housing and points straight down
