Yea, someone backed into her at the grocery, caved the door in. Her deductible is high, found her a complete door blemish free, correct paint code for 133 bucks. Not bad. It's just a little ways away.

The boys at the yard are unbolting it now.

Later.

I was worried about getting a correctly colored hood for my Escape.... but there I had a few silver hoods to choose from. Found one that was in better shape than what was on it, actually.

I'm a little worried about that. My chances should be good. Same year car, same paint code T8. What could go wrong right ? Unless I get lost finding the place lol.

They did say cash only. No problem, just thought that was a little strange....I might end up at a chop shop somewhere in Motown lol.

Guess I better go find out.

That was tiny little place, smallest yard I've ever seen, seriously. I drove right past it the first time. How often does that happen ?

One man operation, but he had the door. The entire place smelled like nasty friction modifier lol.

Btw, found it @ carpart.com.

I got my Toyota steering column for 40 less because cash is king. I always dicker with cash sales. Nice job, Brew!

That reminds me.... I need to get going on that again. I need to go get some leather boots though, LOL.
