Just happened but I might be able to pick up a new Torsen differential for $179. Not something on my radar but may be now. It's for 34 spline axles which doesn't bother me. A spider gear swap kit seems to be no issue. It's listed to also require a Super 8.8 Ring and Pinion gear set. Anyone know exactly what the "super" means and will they work in our 8.8 housings? Is the Super 8.8 requirement about the car the diff was for and our gears will be fine or is it more, involving a fitment issue?
NP. I just went to order some new Cobalt drill bits, and Milwaukee is running this deal right now on HD's site. If you guys are in the market for anything Milwaukee (bits, blades, etc.). Just got 20 bucks off their bits. Their drill bits are really good for the price. I drilled the stud out of my header collector like it was butter.
EDIT: This is what I already have... and I have not had a bit break or go dull on me yet. I have actually lost a couple of them.... I used them in my basement, and they got misplaced or swept up somehow.
Milwaukee makes some awesome tools for making holes and accessories. Can't really call them all drills. There's a plumbing wholesale supplier in town and the entire front wall of the building from the door to the counter is nothing but Milwaukee's tools for their drills. Unfortunately a business or municipal tax number is needed to shop there. Two things I'd never seen are annular drills and taps for metal used on there big and small impact drills. That was the first I'd heard of impact drills for metal let alone taps for an impact drill. IIRC the taps of different threads went up to over 2". Annular drills are like a combination drill bit and hole saws. Big, hollow drills for drilling holes in plate fast. Milwaukee is all they sell in power tools and accessories and they sell a lot of it.
I have a feeling that this is going to hit the national news, if it hasn't already. I'm not too sure what I think about this, but I do know that if I was Collin Raye, I would steer clear away from this thing. The owner of the ranch is posting that the show is still on.
