I've got a repair kit from Belarc (sic) from 1990's, but have kept it and it is still usable. I just finished the initial repair with the heated vinyl repair kit that is included with my kit. I had interior paints and everything to repair factory dashes, etc. I don't know where I put the paint, but went right to the kit. Hmm. Might of dumped them. It' been too long to remember where they're at. lol

Glad to see RB made it back from his self imposed exile for two weeks. Hey Rain.

Both sets of seats in the above pictures are in excellent shape. See we can keep our seats longer than Ford expected. lol Nice seats guys.

Thanks, AK- although i would like to find a nos drivers seat bottom cover. Mine is just getting worn to where im real careful getting in/ out.
No holes or cracks, but id rather be proactive.
Vacation was ok- just one week- f-i-l is a widower-m-i-l passed about 2 yr ago- hes 84, so wife goes over every month to check on him- make sure bills are paid, ck book balanced, etc.
Hes trying to downsize, so he wanted help doing a garage sale. Wife and i and our oldest son and grandson went over. Really, not a bad vacation.
Sounds like youre moving right along with the little truck!-i enjoy reading the posts.- you sure dont let any grass grow under your feet!
Hope today goes well- Regards,Bear.

Your rear axle, does it have a lift block between the axle and the spring with a handle like piece on it for each side?

The only real leather is the seating area only. The side panels and the seat back side panels are vinyl. This makes fixing the side panels quite a bit easier. I did mine yesterday, but ran into a color difference by a shade or two. Quite close actually, but today I'll finish the repair. I gave it all night to make sure it was fully cured. The heat probe makes the outer quite solid, but there is still a part, under the surface that still needs to finish curing.

The repair is strong, so I have to finish evening out the surface a bit, but all in all it is turning out quite well. I still have a 3/4 inch seam to restitch. I couldn't find my curved needle last night, so I'll do that today. Otherwise, they are ready to install.
