LOLZ. Been reading on other's L swaps and came across this:

http://www.f150online.com/forums/sup...-n-f150-5.html

I can tell you there is no way I'm running mine 1 second until all gauges (boost, WB, FP) are hooked up and functioning properly. As well as taking it easy until the tune is spot on. Kid obviously made some serious errors here.

yeah I was paranoid about starting mine the first time. I made sure all mine were hooked up and working too. Too much of time and money for something to go wrong in seconds..

Are you talking about go4dirt? There were like 3 swap people in that thread. Also, how would JJ agree to datalog, let alone get to a 5th one without having a wideband to monitor someone A:F?

Newbie question.. but when this new motor/trans goes in what fluids do you guys recommend I run? Also how are you guys keeping the trannys cool? Thinking about the super duty cooler like Krack did.

Ya, that was stupid to read. I wideband is the only thing that is really a must for startup..and maybe fuel pressure.

I'd just go Motorcraft all around and take advantage to start fresh with synthetic motor oil.
I am unsure of the break-in procedure however

I started up with no Wideband. Just no driving, but monitored everything on the x4

The new gauges and pods will be in this week. If you all want on, let me know.
