Engine Builders talk.
Couldn't tell you scientifically without having the proper equipment to test for contaminants, break down, etc. But in many circumstances in life, 2 is better than 1 my friend.
Not bad with the bracket. I ended up paying $150 for both cables, bracket & CC controller from a salvage yard.

Ordered a lil something extra today. I won't feel bad at all about going the complete 15k between oil changes with the Mobil 1 extended performance. Extra filtration, easier access for oil changes & an extra threaded port to run an oil pressure gauge in addition to the factory sending unit. Sounds like a WIN WIN WIN to me!
Couldn't hurt. I really don't think an extra filter would create enough flow resistance to cause cavitation in the pump. Which makes me contemplate waiting until I get an actual oil gauge installed to monitor pressure just in case.
I like how you guys replies make me actually think something through and take more into consideration than my initial thought grasped. LOL.
Lol I have no idea. I'll get some pictures of it tomorrow. When I bought my bbk throttle body I sat and talked to the old guy about 10th gen trucks for so long he must have liked me and he tossed it in for free. Never got around to installing it though. I think he said its better to swap out the current fittings with new brass fittings because they won't expand or contract like the others would. Idk just what he told me.
You or Todd may want to pick up that remote filter kit. Even if it's a single, you know how much of a pain it is dripping oil all over the front diff and having to contort to get at the filter. At least that's why I'm doing mine.
Same as 4x4dave right? You or Todd may want to pick up that remote filter kit. Even if it's a single, you know how much of a pain it is dripping oil all over the front diff and having to contort to get at the filter. At least that's why I'm doing mine.
