What type of homemade gaskets do you guys buy? I usually buy the generic packs with several sheets of different material. I need something to trace and cut a throttle body gasket, one for the egr delete, and few other misc things

To be honest I don't think I would personally shell out the money to gear swap with just 33s

I think I have to the plenum gaskets, I just have to check.
And that single will work fine for me. I just need to figure out which specific model and how what I need to run with my NA hat.

I was kinda thinking the same thing. I am about to unload an old project so I can fund a ride like y'all have. Ready for something other than muscle cars. Gears are just part of the equation. Not a DD.

Don't ask for a ride like mine unless you want a truck that's broke down 80% of the time lol.

What are you thinking long term for it?

Well, hope to find a bottom end someone built but can't finish, decent set of heads, exhaust, then slap a SC on it. Nothing crazy, maybe 375ish RWHP. Poor truck deserves a makeover, almost finished. Never left me stranded. Saving crazy for my 1979 F100 Ranger. Please excuse the headlights, poor choice, I know. Still undecided on motor options.

I'm thinking I'll leave around 6am on the October 8th..make the most out of the trip since I have a day's drive. And I'm going the leave the 12th. I don't know what days everyone else was planning on but just letting you guys know what I'm doing. Gives me three good days of drinking beer, fishing, and whatever else.
We'll have to chat when the time gets closer. Maybe we can meet up somewhere on the drive there. I'll be headed through Nashville I think. I've got a solid days drive too.

Hey guys I know this is off topic but I know you guys will help me with what I need to know,

So my trucks steering has felt a little light while driving at speed lately, and I was wondering what might be causing this? At lower speeds it feels normal, but at higher speed (above 30 mph) the steering feels like it turns a lot lighter. I don't know if something's loose or worn or something or what. Any help would be appreciated.

And when I say lighter, I mean as in when you're turning the steering wheel it feels more like it's just kinda there as apposed to being connected to something. I'm not saying it feels weightless to turn, it still takes some force to turn it but it feels like it's a lot less than usual.
