Never heard of them, but it definitely takes some time to build a good transmission. Hopefully you get a thread going on the install. I'll probably have a few questions for ya. Have you dropped the trans before? I think I'm going to do it in my driveway lol.

But I went with lentech since they specialize in racing / heavy duty 4r70w's and AOD's. So far customer service has been awesome, and they have delivered on evrey promise so far. I've heard great things about their transmissions and build quality. Mine is coming all the way from canada

SAY WHAT? You've never dropped the trans before??? Tell me your lyin, tell me your lyin!

2 things: get a tranny jack and have a helper. Easier to drop the tranny with the transfer case than separated albeit more awkward weight distribution. It will wanna roll with you. I chained mine to the top plate of the tranny jack to keep it from shifting. And yes, driveways will suffice.

I don't have a place to do the trans,I'm only getting charged $350 to swap them and I get to keep the old trans so I figured I'd let a pro do it. My truck is my daily driver,so I want it right lol. When I get a toy I'm doing all the work myself, but for the daily I do what I think I can do easily. Most of the repairs I've done myself or had help doing

Nope dead serious man! Good tip on the T case. I'll keep it on so it doesn't roll around. Fire away any other good info if you have more.

Don't have a tranny jack. But i have a huge 3 ton jack, hopefully that will work.
