Pull-a-part charges like $170 I think

That's not bad,I guess the real money is gonna be in a valve job and an overbore. What is an estimate for a rebuild (doing everything my self other than valve and overbore) like 1600-2000?

Hard to put a price on a rebuild. Soon enough you'll want a supercharger like the other guys lol

Guy did my .020 over for $100 bucks. Then 100 for hot tank and decking. I chose not to get it shot with bb's due to the dowel pins.

I'm just tossing the idea around right now, but I just priced forged rods, forged crank, .020 over dished pistons with rings, and mild cams and was looking at 2k. If I do decide to tackle this it will be a long drown out process just because of funds.

Just priced out cams and head bolts through ford with a generous discount, cams are $500+ and the bolts are $200+. Aftermarket cams and apr studs it is! Who makes a decent mild cam?

Stage 2 comp cams should be fine but ibd will be able to tell you more on that subject. I'd definitely stick with arp studs because you have a forged bottom end and you say you want boost.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Boost won't be for awhile though unless I come across a full kit ready to just be put on for an awesome price.

Why not just use your stock forged crank? Just make sure to get the assembly balanced and youll be fine. I paid $1579 for manley pistons, manley h beams, total seal rings, main bearings, rod bearings, and main studs.
