I honestly did not know that,thanks! My brother inlaw was saying to get oem gaskets for headers too

I know this is for one specific aftermarket brand but this is off one of the powerstroke forums I've been reading up on

That is a completley different animal. Those black onyx gaskets had a different thickness that couldnt handle the pressures of the diesel engine. Oem will be just fine for the f150.
Edit: oem for everything besides the exhaust manifold. Black onyx are for the head gaskets.

My brother in law was saying run oem gaskets with longtubes,didn't sound right to me.

I had a set of Dynatech LTs bought and then a set of Bassani equal lengths. Both got sold out from under me. Both for like $10 or $20 more than I had paypal'd them
