Check ur local junk yard. I picked one up for mine from the junk yard and it works good. And the stealership charges 3-400 for sure.

my lack of 4 wheel drive is now costing me money!!

what does the vertical arm that the rod on the vacuum actuator moves, connect to?!?! my actuator moves all the way in and out. i have vacuum pressure. my relays work. my transfer case works. but still no power to the front wheels!!!

so when that vertical arm is moved when the **** is turned, what is it doing inside the axle? can i get to it from the diff cover? or do i need to remove the axle tube from the diff where the actuator is at?

not only do i need 4 wheel drive for my business, but the snow is coming now too!!!

i have got the get this working ASAP!!!

thanks!!!

I dont know what anything looks like inside the diff, but i believe you can get to it by taking off the diff cover. Hopefully someone who has had there diff apart might chime in.

On my 04 FX4 when I engage 4X4 I does not engage the hubs completely. Was in some mud other day and needed it. Put in 4X4 and back wheels still spin and the front end makes a grinding noise and wheel would jerk when the hub tried to lock. I put a 3in leveling kit on it about 2 months ago. That shouldn't affect the hubs would it? I saw on here where one person took off vacuum lines and sprayed some PB Blaster in the hubs. Has any one else had this problem? Do you think the lube will help or hurt? Thanks!!!!
