i like the factory chrome but i wouldn't add stick on chrome. rims would be chrome if i ever got any but i dont see that happening. i love the look of my truck, the blue/silver with chrome is amazing when clean in the sun. btw "never dull" is the ***** for cleaning chrome. its nice not having a front bumper with tons of rock chips like a painted one gets...

I think Chrome is an accent, not a mainstay. Emblems, door handles, grilles, rims and some bumpers and step bars look good in chrome. But the door sill tack-ons, fake hood vents, lower rocker panels, windshield wipers, mirror caps, fuel filler doors, mud flaps, bug shields, rain vents, etc are a bit much.

Nothing "wrong" with chrome, I just don't like it. I'm an "all body color" kind of guy. If I'm going to have some sort of metal, I'd prefer SS or brushed aluminum.

To each, his/her own.

I agree on the brushed aluminum. I havent found any brushed aluminum handles or grilles for my truck yet. The Roush grille with a brushed aluminum finish would be awesome IMO.

There is nothing wrong with chrome, but it is like everything else you can have too much.

I feel if it's true chrome on steel it's cool, but plastic chrome just isn't for me. That's why I will be getting a new grille. The one I have now seems so flimsy and cheap.

I LOVE chrome, problem is I'm LAZY. The two do not go well together. LOVE chrome, hate polishing.

You can imagine my personal torment. I hate the "murdered out" look. My truck was bought for purpose not looks, if I had a choice it would have been Black with tons of Chrome or white with tons of chrome. Maybe after I retire and can spend a whole polishing, oh wait, that is what my '49 is for.

I personally love a tastefully chromed truck. If I didnt buy an FX4 I would most likely have some bling on it, in a couple subtle spots. Being that it came with body matched bumpers and a black grille I just kinda kept it going.

now if only I could find someone to powder coat my rims and steps black...

Default Chrome..depends on color of truck.

I love chrome on most trucks...but if I had a black F150 you wouldn't see any chrome- they look bad *** all black.
