So true on the chrome wheels offroad. I have black rims and love them. In fact, I'm about to rhino line my tan strip at the bottom of my truck and the bumpers black. And it's not that I hate chrome, it's just when people take it overboard (door handles, tailgate handle, window visors, etc..)

 

If everyone liked the same thing it would be lame. I like all kinds of style trucks, and appreciate anything done out.

 

chrome is good in moderation and with the right color truck. Chrome trim all over the damn thing looks stupid IMO.

I just want to try something to see what people consider to much, just right, or to little. Others should post pictures as well to get a larger sample.

Who thinks this is to much chrome? Who thinks its just Right? Who thinks its to little?

 

Im glad to see so many of us still like the moderate chrome accents on our trucks. I was starting to second guess my plans to buy chrome bed rails for my black on black 2007 Lariat. Its pretty much a stock Lariat and although I think she is a real beauty, i think a few chrome touches will only enhance her and really make her "mine". You know what I mean...?

thats a lot of chrome! But it looks good on your truck since its black. Just dont go overboard and get chrome trim on the windows

I think that you have a really great looking truck. I would say that it is not even close to "over doing it". Really Nice.

See........ that looks good........ I love black and chrome........

But for me....... I WOULD HATE IT..... I would never want that much chrome on my truck..... because again.... I would be never dulling every inch of chrome at least once a week.........

Do I take that good of care about my paint??????? No....... Does that make sense????? Not at all.....

Chrome vent-gaurds and chrome bedrails would be over-doing it though....

Not to mention, I would hate taking that truck off-road..... It's too purty......




And to me....... If you aren't going to take your truck off road...... it isn't worth having...... especially isn't worth spending money on aggressive tires and fancy wheels.....

 

I got rid of my chrome, but I don't like it on my.green truck. Chrome looks good on black, white, red, and silver.
