I absolutely love chrome, in moderation. I have seen way to many people over do it and it looks disgusting. I however have even been accused of overdoing it.

Agree 100%...Allot of haters lately and I noticed the blacked out crowd seem to be a little emo when opinions are given on how dull the black (rims) look (especially when opinions are requested)...I personally love the shine of a nice set of chrome wheels, wouldn't have it any other way. I'm also not crazy about overboard chrome...and do like the PTM theme (bumpers etc) but the black rims will never grow on me. Just looks like you're rolling on 4 spares! Looks fugly IMO, big tires or not. But to each their own. I have noticed the growing bandwagoners on the "murdered out" or "blacked out" look...don't remember ever seeing a "chromed out" thread Why waste any money on aftermarket wheels when you're just going to black them out and hide them....PUKE!

I also like chrome, and if done right really makes a truck stand out. Beside, every chrome lover knows that chrome make it go faster. I too don't understand the big 'black-out' craze. Why dress it up if you can't see it?

I HATE chrome on my pickup...........

I'll tell you why...... If I have chrome on something, it's gonna be immaculate..... which means spending 1 hour at least every weekend cleaning my chrome........

I spend enough time cleaning the chrome on my bike...... I don't need any chrome on my truck....

I spent 3 grand on chrome rims and won't ever take my truck offroad. Just the way I like it. I have lots of friends with trucks to go offroading with, I'll let them beat theirs up. Mine is for going to the lake , cruising the strip, loading up the motorcycle, towing the boat, and cramming hot women in.
