I agree, chrome has its place. Too much of anything can look bad. Just be a little tasteful with it.

i dont understand all the guys who say that chrome is a lot of work, i know a ton of people with chrome wheels and i know for a fact that they never have put a drop of polish on, and they are still blinding. as long as they dont get hard water spots i dont see the problem. I have more trouble with black/powdercoated wheels showing every bit of grim on them over chrome. Thats just me i guess. Polished aluminum is a true pain in the *** though.

Chrome is great IMO, i like it.

I live in an area where winter is half of the year and there is all sort of nastiness that gets on your chrome. Worst of all is the road salt and chemical which eats the finish. You just don't see that many people that are happy about having chrome here unless it is July

I was ok with chrome until the euro light craze with all the ricers and being from the south, having all these "gangstas" with their hideous wheels and chrome covered cars... Now chrome to me looks cheap, same thing with gold. I for one, didn't jump on the "murdered out" bandwagon, BUT my truck is blacked out. What can I say, i'm a chick full of tattoos and rides MX, black/dark has always been my preference/style. But to each his own...

I like chrome in moderation. I prefer to PTM the peices, but I do still have some chrome on the truck. As for chrome rims, I use them and have had them for about 3 years now with a very healthy amount of offroading. Chrome rims are fine offroad (unless your hardcore rock climbing or something). As long as you wash them from time to time. I have noticed a couple of small (SMALL) spots of pitting, but for the amount of time it spends offroad for hunting and fishing I can live with it.

This is the before with chrome and after with bed liner!! I like the bed liner because the only chrome that was on my truck was the bumpers and around the emblems!!
