Also, you can no longer find OEM Ford roller followers on Advance Auto.
I bought the whole set of 24 from Rock Auto, sold individually IIRC, along with the pump and miscellaneous gaskets.

Damn that sucks on the OEM followers.

Likewise a lot of the other senders and sensors that you have listed unless maybe you're having some particular problem that calls for it now. Like I said earlier with some of the other stuff, most all of that you can get to later without much trouble. You have a (hopefully) rare opportunity to take care of things internal while you're in there. Not easy to get back to.

Mine is fixed now. Took care of that when I had to pull it apart again to do the timing. But, yeah, bugged the hell out of me for a long time.

Might also want to budget for a crank sensor wheel too. You can take a look at yours and see whether it's chewed up when you get there and don't need to buy in advance. Can pick up at the dealer for ~$25-$30 if you need to replace.
Totally agree with everything here; I re-used ALL sensors and the tone wheel, as I had to also replace the front cover, the PS pump and a hand full of PS lines. I didn't even replace the VVT solenoids until much later and only because I wanted to, not because I had to. As much as the ~$1800 that all ran me, having to pull it apart to redo something (not to mention the gut wrench of still hearing noise if I cut corners) would have been far more worse. My tone ring was fine, and my chain had worn considerably into the front cover. If you've bought those parts, hang on to them, but if the stuff you take off is fine, return them.

While we're spending your money, do you have a lower-range torque wrench for the caps? The 50 ft lb is a little too big for that. They're 10 NM/~89 in lbs/~7.5 ft lbs. Better not count on values when working in the lower ~20% range of the wrench. That's where most of your error will be. It's probably given as +/-10% but kind of pushing it with that. Various other fasteners in that same torque range but not any others that I can think of that are all that critical.

Most all of the pullers, fan clutch wrench, etc., I rented for free at a local auto chain but you may not have that option.

Before you buy all those tools head to your local Autozone and see what they have in their tool loan program. I borrowed $180 worth of tools, a couple of them were brand new still sealed in their packaging. You have to pay for them up front, but stick that on a credit card and get all your money back when you return them.

Including an inch lb torque wrench, which I ended up keeping. I personally wouldn’t trust anything that critical from HF anyway.

LOL. I need to look at the wrench as to what it's max value is. I was only guessing that it was 50ft-lbs. It might be a 100 to 150in-lb wrench.

Did you miss the part where I said "Since April this is what I bought"? I'd rather own tools instead of borrow them every time I need them.

Well, I did buy the 3/4" 300ft-lb Pittsburgh torque wrench from HF, at the same time my mom bought me the Tekton 3/4" 300ft-lb wrench as a thank you gift (that I expected to get a month or two later for my birthday). The Tekton has a better build quality, so I returned the Pittsburgh wrench back to HF.

You might consider the Trans fluid change (flush) trick I employed recently on mine as I had read about on a forum. 1). Disconnected 'supply' line to my Oil Cooler & slipped a rubber hose over it - crammed it into a 1 gallon clear jug. 2) Cranked her up in Neutral - idled until jug was full. 3) cut engine off, dropped pan (easy / not messy because empty of fluid) and replaced filter and cleaned up pan & gasket. 4). Poured four quarts of Mercon V in, emptied the JUG, and cranked engine in neutral again until JUG full. 5). Repeated step 4 until fluid comming into jug looked just like what I was pouring in. 6). Reconnected cooler supply line and topped off with 4 more quarts. -- Actually wound up with slightly overfull (1/3 quart). I had bought 15 quarts and USED 14, but spilled some as usual with any fluid change work.

Though was done only preventatively, Tranny shifts beautifully 1000 miles later, seems to have smoother RPM drop during shifts. Smooth as hell for 250k original tran.
