OMG another problem....
It is favored to move dear dot from 6 oclock to 7 and that puts keyway at 12 oclock . Some say its easier to see and relieves some valve pressure, links still install same way . single link on gear dot .
Thx guys, I will be there again today after I get a bit of work done, then go over things again, one question what can I use to hold phasers to get them torqued if I have no special tool. I will take more pics also. I know the drivers side I should get whith turning phaser as 1/2 link off, but pass side more I think. What's weird is watch a few vids and Krazy how different people do it even with blk links. Thx

Also in the video he is starting from scratch with all the lash adjusters out. Thought it might be a good reference near the end to see the markings. This guy has a bunch of good videos on Ford repair.
^^^ ALL AGREED 100% ^^^ THE ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL ISSUE IS CHAIN / GEAR MARKS ALIGN. After that, Everything else will fall into place because of those "****" on the front of Cams will not allow Phasers to be put on wrong, and Crankshaft keyway won't allow putting crank gear on wrong. Many begin to question their work after rotating the engine and find the marks are no longer aligned (As @redfishtd mentioned - they won't for another 122 revolutions).
Attached is the clearest diagram I've ran across.

Good, many didn't want to remove the spark plugs before 2007 for obvious breakage reasons. That is a whole lot of "can of worms" for your day if you have the old spark plugs. Lol If you go slow the compression isn't so bad. It can leak down with some few seconds having passed. You can hear it leaking off if you are in a quiet place. I like to do these things in quiet for complete concentration. Your ears can be a great tool. With the rockers off and spark plugs still in place, there is compression on every cylinder at any crank movement of an upward piston, reason to go slo if you don't want to chance broken spark plugs removal you can listen for the deep in the crankcase vent of compressed gas past the rings. Older engines don't seal up as tight as a new rebo in most instances.

Holly smoke. I never tried that - but I'll bet if I did it wouldn't be a very quiet place for me grunting or screaming. FOUR pistons at a time would be fighting you - not only at any crank movement of an upward piston, but as compression bleed off those four, four others would be fighting you drawing a vacuum. Wouldn't they??
Bet I'd be removing a bunch of spark plugs.
