That statement right there is why no Non-American born people should be allowed to hold any public office. They do not know or understand american culture or freedoms (sorry but that means you to Arnie). If everyone carried guns like wallets we would have even less crime than now. I am suprised you know what a wallet is... sounds like You must carry a man purse. The best part about the 2nd am. is that you dont need a reason!

i have a permit to carry and i dont leave my gun in my truck unless i am within seeing distance. I find it stays under my seat very nicly when the truck is not moving.

Lightbulb But really...most of us are smart and responsible

Whoa, this got crazy. But really, almost all people with the concealed permit know how and when to use a gun. Their state requires that they know, and hell, most people have been taught properly and are not dumb with their guns. And they know NOT to use a gun unless dire circumstances require it. Most people are smart enough to flee instead of stay and fight; I mean why would you want to take another's life, even if they deserve it?; "an eye for an eye" is a bad policy and most people know that. Besides some crazy people, most gun owners are VERY responsible with their arms. And I consider myself a social liberal; I still think people can carry arms responsibly and respectfully. Just because of a few bad apples doesn't mean anything.

It is a good idea to have somewhere, out of plain sight, to keep a firearm. Preferably it would be locked in a case, but really, it doesn't have to be if you're smart. Most people know when to leave it in the truck and when to carry it or leave it at home. With that, most gun owners know the proper circumstances to carry it a certain way (ie. your 6 yr. old daughter is in the truck so you're not going to just leave it in a bad place where she can reach it, but if you're alone and/or you are in a dangerous area, you might want to be able to reach it in case you are caught in a corner with no where to flee to).

This has been interesting to hear where people keep their arms in the F150. It makes me think more about gun safety, really. No one wants to hit a huge bump and have their gun go off because they left it loaded w/ safety off (for some irresponsible reason) and somehow it hits the wrong place under the front seat and fires. Anything can happen. With that said, again, most people are very respectful and smart about how and where they carry. It is too bad this is such a debated topic and that there are people out there that will use guns to kill and harm and rob. Those few people in this world are the ones that make this topic such a hot debate that it is today, while the rest of us are regular, good and responsible about our firearm usage.

when im in my truck my gun is under my left leg. it is sad when we live in a world where you have to have a gun with you when you leave the house but thats the truth. i live in el paso tx. right now and just across the boarder there have been 170+ murders just this year from the drug cartels. I'd rather have it and not need it then need it and not have it.

if you have the 40/20/40 seats then lift up your center console, then yank up on the seat bottom cushion from the front. (like you remove the back seat), there you will find a neat hiding spot for w/e. pistol fits great down there. that and extra TP, or whatever.

Being in law enforcement I have a gun with/on me always. It is my belief that every responsible, law abiding gun owner should carry their firearm with them at all times. The fact of the matter is, the law breakers have guns!!!!!!, and will use their guns on you!!!!! If an intruder is inside your home the damage is done and he is long gone by the time the police arrive.
If an intruder breaks into my home, it will be the last crime that he/she will ever commit!

Sounds like Justinn is no longer going to visit here! You will be missed.

I have before. Just because you carry a gun it doesn't mean you have the ***** to use it.
