God dammit I dont care who you are or where you are, you NEED to be prepared to fight off the ******* who thinks he can just come along and make you another victim! Pack heat, lots of it, so that the next unlikely ****-wrapped-in-skin who decides to engage in criminal activity to ATTEMPT to make another victim to gain something of value pays for it- hopefully with his life. there Ive said my piece.
Also, our guns are more important than we might think. We WILL need our guns when the day comes when this out-of-control government decides that they know better than we do, and decide that the public should not own guns....just think about that....how safe are we then?

Although I can understand their fears and concerns and respect their right to speak out their beliefs, I don't agree with folks who want to do away with weapons in the hands of law abiding citizens.
The problem with them is that they fail so see the huge flaw in their reasoning. The weapons themselves are not the cause of death and destruction. It is the criminals who use these weapons in the commission of crimes. It's beyond silly to think that outlawing possession of weapons will somehow fix everything. The antisocial element will always be able to get and use handguns and they even use assault rifles in the commission of their crimes. There are already hundreds if not thousands of laws regulating guns and criminals. They are largely ignored by criminals. Only law abiding citizens follow such rules.
If handguns become outlawed, only the criminals will be armed. Why should law abiding citizens be prevented from defending themselves? I do not carry but I do own firearms. I am a peaceful person and I avoid confrontations and fights of any kind. However, I reserve the right to defend myself or my loved ones with lethal force if necessary. I pray and hope that I never have the need to shoot anyone for any reason, but at least I have a chance to defend my life and safety.

Because of we get rid of all the guns in the world then there would be no evil... Same ***-hat thinking that Europe used in WWI and WWII... Didn't work for countries and it won't work for people...

You are a complete moron. When you're older, and you're stopped at a red light with your wife (or husband) in the passenger seat and your kid in the carseat behind you and a low life thug pulls a gun at the window and tells you to give up your keys or your life, you better hope he's the kind of "nice" thug that gives you a few seconds to unbuckle junior before he speeds off. It happens even in the nicest of neighborhoods.
