Hold on one second...I've always carried and had my permit to do so (until I moved into this crap state which I'm working on moving out) but if I recall having your concealed permit means it must be "on you and concealed". Having it in the truck in a holster mount....well wouldn't that be in violation of the permit laws?

Florida requires no CCL to keep a weapon in your vehicle. In FL, a vehicle falls under the "castle" law, just like your home. You are able to protect yourself no matter what, and no permit is required to be armed while in there.
