Thanks I wanted to upgrade to a gryphon tune since I have the k&n intake but your custom tune seems to be working very well over the canned edge tune, so I might just leave it.

Could I bump the timing up to +1.0 if I ran 89 octane on the level 2 tow tune?

Yes sir you should be able too. Just leave your tire size stock and set your rear end gear ratios to whatever you have and you'll be all set to go.

Anybody have new settings??

Anyone make one strictly for the 4.6 or will the ones posted work fine?

With the canned level 3
0-60 7.6 secs
1/4 16.8

My setup is 4.6, gotts mod with k&n filter and a flowmaster.
Tires are 285/60-18
Gears are stock 3.55

Just curious how my times compare to you guys?

Thumbs up

Bass, firstly thanks for the info thus far. I've a question about shifting down while towing?

I have an 07 5.4 and sometimes tow about 5000lb up some of our steep hills here in BC. I've had a hell of a time on the Coquihalla Hwy. The trans won't shift down as I approach the steepest parts of the hill causing the engine to plain run out of torque and slow to 25-30 MPH. I'm going to try your tuning post of long ago, but wondered if you've any advice on changes to the down shift settings offered in the programming screens.

Thx in advance.

Hmmm I'm not sure what's going on there. Have you updated your edge lately? Might want to try to update it and see if that fixes it. Anytime I touch the custom Std. Shift Points on my edge the shifting gets real erratic so I don't ever touch it.
