I stay pretty close to these settings:

Level 2 custom settings
Gear Ratio = whats in the truck, confirm it with your axle code
Tire Size = enter correct diameter
Idle Speed = I never adjust this
WOT Shifting = 1-2 and 2-3 @ 5000 and 3-4 @ 4600 rpm
Std. Shifting = leave alone
Shift Firmness = 1-2 @ +6, 2-3 @ +8 and 3-4 @ +10
Rev Limiter = 5500 rpm
Speed Limiter = what ever you are comfortable with, I do 120 mph
Timing Adjustment = +.25 or +.50 (if you do +.50, make sure your engine doesnt ping)
WOT Fuel = no need to go over +1.75

You can adjust the shift firmness to your liking, but I get consistent mid 6 second 0-60 runs with this set up. I have a 07 FX2 Supercrew with the 5.4 and 3.55 gears.

This was tonight and my 1-2 shift was to low, was trying some things out, it was at +2, which I just changed to +6. Click the video to watch it:

So I contacted edge and they said with the evolution model the average miles per gallon is a average of every time you shut your truck off and back on, not the average throughout you whole tank of gas. So it really is a pointless parameter to watch.

Really? Not mine, it is always exactly dead on, within .3-.6 mpg, throughout a whole tank of gas.

So what does it mean if your transmission is slipping? How bad is to bad and what do I need to look for? 2 of the parameters on the programmer can tell you if your transmission is slipping and according to that mine supposedly is.

I don't go by that mine says the same thing but I can tell from experience with a bad transmission that mine isn't bad

Ok so it seems like there is quite a few things this thing says is one thing but it really isn't. Seems like it is a lot less accurate than I thought.

Summers, I am going through the process of buying an Edge 18051 from another member here, would these same settings work for mine, I have a 2004 FX4 5.4 with 4WD. I will look up my gears but I believe they are 3.55 and I have the stock 20in rims
Thanks
Tom

Dont see why they wouldnt. I have 285/50/20, so my tire mm is 2491. For a 275/55/20 it would be 2546 mm.
