Totally Understood. From my reading it does not seem that the tailer power is constant so I am not sure whay I am going to do for power, they suggested running a constant power from the battery.....I am thinking of installing a switch and reply somehow someway

 

What truck do you have? My 2010 Platinum came with a trailer/tow kit. If you hook that up, you'll have a constant hot at the trailer plug. Then just tap into that.

 

Which one of the 7 is constant hot? I think you need to go to the fuse panel or battery or find a constant hot. I do not think the 7 pin has one that is aways hot.

 

The guys from 4z company told me the trail pin is not hot constantly, key has to be in on postion for it to be hot......2007 Lariat

 

that's how I remembered it too. key needed to be on..

 

Now I have to do some amature wiring: Battery to inline fuse to lights....could be interesting!
