Here's the response i received from 4zproducts when I e-mailed them that question:

"The lights are weather resistant. We have multiple units installed in several pickups that are outside and exposed to the elements and in North Dakota that is saying a lot." -4zproducts

Do the 4z have an on off switch ???? I spend alot of time sitting on the tailgate in the summer after softball games and wouldn't want the lights on the whole time

Final ?, which option did you go with on your truck:

LED System (Includes one Super Bright LED light system and everything needed for installation) for $ 39.95 USD
Dual LED System (Includes Two Super Bright LED lights, one for each side of the pickup box and everything needed for installation) for $ 54.95 USD
