kcarpenter528, I'll take you up on that. Syncmyride thinks I have updated and won't let me to the new release though when I check my version it's not 4.4. I'd appreciate it very much. I got the update to work on my wife's Focus so I know something has changed since I last tried.

You should only install the SYNC updates that are specific to the vehicle. Your continued patience is much appreciated while we work to resolve this issue for everyone.

Geez..
How can I go back to my previous version ?
Now with this update no sound from usb mp3 or my spotify application !
I see the song title on screen but no sound ! !!
Everythings work fine before !

Joy, you are aware you are dealing with some of the most patient people any company would work overtime to keep. We've been waiting on resolution for months and the word we continually hear is to keep waiting. How long do you realistically expect people to accommodate what seems to be a general lack of genuine concern for customers? I am sure you can understand the overwhelming corporate feeling that Ford has known of this issue since before the end of 2015 and we are now into May of 2016 without resolution. Promises begin to feel very hollow.

kcarpenter528 I appreciate you posting the zip file. I downloaded and tried it only to receive the same error message of installation failure from lack of space or incomparable version. Thanks for trying.

Upsetting to hear, but at least that means there is a viable reason yours doesn't show an update as of yet, not just because they don't feel like rolling it out :-/
