They don't offer a telescoping 4 ton anymore.

What do you think the max jack height needs to be in order to clear the ground, including suspension travel? I don't want to have to strap up the suspension.

Captain, I don't know how much heihgt is minimum for ground clearance. The jack I have has a 15" plus the body of 10" for a max of 25", I have not had a problem jacking my truck for tire changes. Try Napa or Auto Zone.

Are you hitting the frame rail when you jack it up? I just bought an 18" height, let's see of it works.

sounds like the good ol bumper jack lol(thats what my tbird has it in lol) cant trust those things at all

If you use the jack like the directions state you should have no issue
