Default Fuse 27 TSB

Went to the dealer today. They did the TSB fuse 27 to 70 start to finish for $190. Funny thing is it took forever. They supposedly cut the wrong wire and had to wait for a replacement. I dropped it off at 7:30 and waited. TSB for fuse 27, the Works oil change and new pads and rotors up front. I waited there, 2 pm it was finished. 6 1/2 hours waiting. At least I had thing to do there. They said the tech cut/nicked the wrong wire and that's why it took so long. Walking around watching, yes they did have their heads in the engine compartment half the time.
But it's all done now.

Dumb Question, why would you pay for a repair that is identified with a TSB?

Some one else could probably explain it better. But it's a 2013 4 1/2 years old. I do have the Fors ESP plan. Just because it's a TBS doesn't mean it's covered. It it started to pit the fuse but it never hesitated or totally failed to start. It's not a recall but a TSB on a 4 1/2 year old truck with 29,000 miles.

Does anyone have the part number for the kit to move the fuse?

I bought my 13 used, and it's got 80K miles now.
I have the ESP as well, but I'd rather do the mod as a preventative measure.

Edit
Never mind found it in another thread

Took me close to an hour in the driveway, others here have said they did it in 30 minutes. The concept is simple but the time is due to opening and closing the fuse box on the bottom.

TSBs are simply documents containing technical info for personnel in dealership service operations; paying for having the repair done is a warranty issue, which is something else entirely.

It's like having a bad display on a laptop. The manufacturer may have a Web page that says this symptom is caused by a bad LCD panel and the solution is replacing the panel, but that doesn't mean they'll replace it for you--they'll only do that under the terms of the warranty.

i don't think it's considered powertrain because it's electrical.

The powertrain is inop when that fuse fails. Therefor an essential part of operation just as if the main powertrain control module went out.
