Fuse 27 TSB
There's an argument to be made on both sides, the powertrain control module is certainly an electrical part, but I think we can all agree that it would also be covered by the powertrain warranty.
While the problem with fuse 27 isn't as cut and dry when determining which warranty covers it, it does prevent the powertrain from functioning properly when it occurs. Many dealers may just not try to submit a warranty claim because of this grey area, I'd be interested to hear how Ford has responded to claims that were submitted.

For $20, I said screw it, better do it when it ain't needed, than get caught out somewhere if/when it took a dump.
That, and the fact I discovered my gun was bad, and got a brand new tool!!!
LOL, took me at least a few hours. Ya, opening an closing the box is a PITA. But what cost me time was a lunch break, and a 34 mile trip to the hardware store to get a new soldering gun.

Mine kinda got done before it was needed (2 Fuses and a fuse tap later)
A few months ago I picked up a nice '13/6.2. I've been aware of the fuse TSB for a while, and yesterday I decided to see just how big a job it was going to be. I thought the same as johnday, better fix it before it quits me out in the sticks. Opened the box and wah-lah, it was already done. One of the legs of the original #27 slot was slightly melted.

Could one of the Ford Customers service rep contact me. After reading some of these replies. Why wouldn't the power train or Ford ESP cover the TSB for fuse 27 relocation? It's a 2013 5.0 with 29,000. I do have the Ford ESP plan too.
Just wondering why I had to pay.

I agree that it should be; I was just addressing the larger TSB issue.
On the other hand, when the EGR on my Lincoln failed, I was told that it wasn't covered under the Federal 8/80 Emissions Warranty (which was still in effect at the time). If that's not emissions equipment, I don't what is. Of course, after I e-mailed Ford Customer Support to find out why it wasn't covered, my dealership came up with some "good will" money to cover the cost...
