I've had to do some work on it. Had to weld some joints at the rear door where a load shifted and broke the framework. Had to replace both LED tail lights. Had to put 4 new radial trailer tires on it. Now I'm sealing up a couple of spot on the roof with Eternabond tape, and servicing the wheel bearings. I'm in it now for $3,450 and it is a really great trailer.

I plan to haul lawn equipment, UTVs, furniture when we move to our new house, etc. in it. I will likely never go over 2,000 lbs. payload. It'll mostly be in-state travel, so under 250 miles one way per trip, with many trips just being around town.

It does have a flat front, which is actually a curved front. But yeah, I do wish it had the V-nose. For $1,000+ in savings, I can live without the V-nose.

Yes, originally I wanted a 20' because I had drawn it up on graph paper and I could get my son's Polaris RZR 170 and a future purchase of a RZR 570 for me and the wife both into the same trailer. However, the 20' trailers were hard to find, and I was getting quotes from $4,600 plus a long drive to pick it up, to $5,400 locally to have one built.

So, in the end I picked up a 7x16' Mirage Enterprises enclosed trailer that I found on craigslist for $3,000. It's got the side door with a step, which you normally only see on 8.5' wide trailers. It also has RV style door latch which I love, roof vent, side flow thru vents, 3,500 lb. torsion axles, rear ramp door, interior light, "porch" lights on side and on the back, etc. I would imagine that when this trailer was new in 2007, it was probably fairly expensive.

Thanks Jeff, I'm going to the dealership Monday. Hopefully it's an easy add on. Appreciate it.
