I am far from an expert and if it have almost 2 years since I did mine so I am trying to remember things in order to help you guys out. I have my truck stored also since I use the ranger to plow and beat in the winter so thank god I have some pictures to help me along. TBS is there any way you could take some pictures and post them. That will give me a better idea off what you are talking about and seeing. While you are at it, if you can take pictures, take on of the aux and usb so I can see where that is located.

when you are looking at the breakout picture you have to remember that it is upside down and needs to be turned,,,, so look at #20 on the tasca drawing, that is the blower motor. Now look at the picture below! As you see the fan is on the bottom and all the way to the right of the p/s glove box. So the drawing tasca has is to be turned rightside uo and then turned to the right so the fan is in the right spot. Now that is the way it should be but again they are only drawings and it is hard to tell. but the part you h just mentioned is for dual air which means it controls one side of the truck.. at least that is the way I see it.

here is the way I think it goes! once and if you can get me some pictures I will have a better idea!

dammit... now I see what you mean. so, i wonder what needs to be done to connect the console to the vent. I mean... it appears to only need a "bridge" from what I was seeing...

ok so now look to see if there is a piece above the under seat vent tube that you can remove and possible install #15 as you said you needed from Tasca. I know the drawing can't be right on their site but it still shows the parts. #14 looks more like the underseat vent hookup than 8 does so I guess if that is the case then I(we) assume that #15 should be the piece that mounts above it!

yes! just checked underneath. there are 4 bolts holding a "blank" plastic over a round square hole. I will do a detailed write up once I get this thing started. plenty of pictures for those of us who are mechanically challenged haha

here is a link to eBay for the 1/8" ABS plastic. There are several to choose from.. take a look and try to match as best as you can the pattern in your console/dash. I would get a couple of sheets (12x12x1/8") if you are planning on making your own storage pocket where the shifter went, not to mention if you screw up a piece or two. Then you need to go to lowes or a plumbing hardware store and pick up some prep cleaner and ABS glue.

Make sure you get the ABS in 1/8", it is strong and the exact same size the panels are so they match up very well!

well, I was impatient and put it in. no trim pieces have arrived, nor the vent adapter, but everything is ordered!

I did run into a problem though. 2013 xlt comes with a compartment that is in the way. wasn't enough day light to remove the lid, however was able to pull it down enough to install it.

The finished product will look good! only had 1 connector for the rear power point. going to have to splice and connect another harness to the plug on the inside of the console. will do that once I have all of the trim and vent pieces in
