Maybe I missed it but has anyone tried just getting the necessary OEM hoses from a mustang?

I inquired about the mustang factory hoses which I was told are molded. And the mustang connections are on the opposite side toward the center down lower. You could be the first to purchase some and possibly flip them and see if they will work, I believe you would have to order 2 of the same one that is the longest to reach the heater core connections. That is why I built my own with the gates 90 connectors and thermoplastic bands. Still working great several thousand miles later.

They won't work. I have a set in my shop. They are actually different sizes. You can use 1 end but you would have to piece it together on one and the other is actually molded different and you would have to piece it together also. Maybe something has changed but not the 2 I ordered. I have everything to do the job except the hoses if interested.

I just ordered my cover off of ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/111177784040...84.m1497.l2649 Thank you guys for all your hard work in figuring out the rerouting of the heater hoses. I am looking forward to attempting this but have to admit I am a little nervous about modifying my engine as I have only had the truck a month now and it has all of 1200 miles on it.
