Good call on the conduit. I just found some in the bottom of my toolbox and was able to wrap that exposed length. Looks 100x better. Thanks for the tip.

This is what I went with. Simple, no wiring, very bright, and works awesome. Plugs directly into the trailer harness plug and comes on automatically when you hit reverse. That being said, I never pull a trailer. Cost me $20.

It seems like a pretty good alternative, but I wonder how weather tight it is. Sure don't need salt/sand mix getting to my plug.
You guys "down yonder" have an advantage over us guys up here.

That's a good idea, but I wanted something higher so that I had light to load and unload my flat deck. That and some light while connecting and disconnecting my camper in the dark.

Yeah, I guess you are right. We have not had snow yet this winter and salt is not used on the roads at all in Virginia. For those in southern states, if anyone is thinking about buying it, it works very well.

Wireless remote? Do you have a link to what you used? This sounds like what I want.

Thx.

I like it clean inside.

The CREEs really do throw good light. I also love the tucked look but may have mounted them too high under the truck. In reverse they shoot down more than out. Still better than stock but I think I'll have to redrill some holes.

Mine are tucked and basically just light up the ground 15 ft behind the truck. I don't want to blind a passing vehicle and cause an accident.
