If you have a spdt switch the reverse wire would go to one positive, the constant from the battery would go to the other positive. And the middle attachment would go to the relay switch. Hope that helps.

I'm pretty sure I saw this posted here, but it bears repeating. I bought these: http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00K3GBRQ2

Holy ! These things are bright, and better yet didn't make me cut holes in my bumper or deal with extra wiring. They simply plugged right in and are blindingly bright.

I had those ^ and it still wasn't good enough.

Got these HERE and am finally happy.

I had two different pairs under the bumper and busted both of them on trails. Flush mount is the way to go if you ever go off pavement

As mentioned earlier in this thread, I planned to install a pair of LLL 6-gang 18W LED lamps (link) solely intended for utility vs wired to truck backup lights. Completed the job this afternoon and just now took a nighttime picture. Wow, as suspected - much too bright for courteous (even if legal) use while backing - unless under separate switch control.

I chose to tap into aux power cable (inside LH taillight housing cavity) powering Leer triple 12v receptacle using an LLL relay controlled cable plus marine grade Blue Sea (by Carling) SPST switch in 120v electrical outlet box retained by industrial velcro inside the Leer bedcap rail. (wow, record length sentence)

These are LLL lamps bought from lowest seller found online. Also noting there are cheaper alternatives which appear identical as well as one likewise appearing same listed in Hella's online catalog. No clue whether all are identical in LED quality but these are very bright. OK, how bright? Well, they hurt my eyes from across the street...

Thanks, I appreciate it. If I had it to do over I'd have gone with pavers instead.
