I did have it happen 30-40 mph the other day taking off, forgot about that. Guess that rules the only in 6th gear issue out. Hope they do fix this because when I was getting good gas milage and it wasn't shuddering I love the truck. Might strap my phone in the engine compartment and record it happening to see if I can hear it better.

I have submitted a PM to one of the moderators. I want to make a sticky for the sole purpose of gathering information on the trucks having the issue. I will be submitting this to Ford to show them the types of trucks having the issue so that they may better pin point the issue and resolve it.

This will be for the 2009 + MY and the 55 (ish) MPH shudder/vibration.

I think we have all seen the power of the internet work somewhere, hopefully it will be the case here. If granted I will post a link to the sticky here.

In the meantime, have your vehicle info. ready. The most important of which may be your build date and assembly plant.

I was going up a hill that always makes the truck shudder late the other night. Very quiet in the cab. HVAC off, radio off, and no noise from other traffic and I could here it dumping boost over and over again. The noise was consistant with the shudder that I was feeling. Seems like it is dumping to much boost then building it back and dumping it again. It seems like I am feeling the boost fluctuate when it should just be holding steady.

Glad to see yours isn't unlocking either. I'm not so sure they are supposed to. I see other folks on here either haven't tried it or are not posting their results. Not sure why?

Mine will unlock on its own sometimes when I accelerate.
I don't know if it's connected or not, but there has been a few times that the turbos seem to be VERY responsive. When I barely touch the throttle the turbos seem much louder than normal. I don't usually hear much from them at all.

Just had my 2012 at the dealership for the shuddering problem. They couldn't find anything wrong but they did update the PCM. Driving home from the dealer, the shuddering still happened on the same hill that i drive everyday. Guess the update did not help at all.

Start a petition against Ford at http://www.change.org and this will get their attention! I have signed many of these and cannot believe how well this works. Ford will not want the attention with this....

Already 22 people on the info page, times that by an average of 40,000 per truck. Only can assume the number will grow on the info page, thats alot of money ford may miss out on the next time people buy.

I tried this and the tc did not unlock. It just made my 9 y/o think I was checking to see if she had her seat belt on. I also tried press and holding the brake instead of tapping. This just kicked in the brake over-ride function and it decreased throttle on it's own.

I've always thought this was a tc problem and that's how I described it to the dealership the first couple times.

Is it possible that the slipping is also causing the waste gates to flutter at the same time? It kinda makes sense but my tach is steady during these shuddering periods.
