Now at just over 16,000 miles.
So far, the miles on the vehicle do not seem to have an impact. My truck has 47K on it and it shows all of the symptoms described on this thread --- shuddering and hard acceleration stall etc. --- yet it doesn't seem to be getting worse. Honestly, I wish it would break and coast to the side of the road so they know what to fix. Two months ago the dealer (as per Ford) "CHECKED PINS ON 57/73 [connectors] RE TIGHTEN OK". Believe it or not, the shuddering issue went away for about 2500 miles. Unfortunately, it is now back, but not any worse than before. The dealer has been very professional about it. At my last service, he gave me Ford's written response to his inquiry --- " ENGINEERING IS INVESTIGATING, CONTINUE TO MONITOR OASIS FOR FURTHER UPDATES". Patience is definitely a virtue...

I believe it was about four weeks ago when they said the fix would be out in three to four weeks (stringing us out still)?

Talked to my dealer today cause they want me to bring it in to replace the mirror that spontaneously cracked...I mentioned that I had wanted to wait to drop it off again until the fix for the issues discussed here were released. They said they haven't heard a date but my mirror repair ticket must be closed within 60 days, which is in like 2 weeks. So I'll have to drop it off to get that done and also to get the rear slider looked at which stopped working this week...fortunately the window was in a closed position.

When I go out there in a couple weeks I'll be pressing them for more info on any news of a fix.

Natasha from Ford Service contacted me today via FaceBook as I've made a habit of posting on their site 2-3x a week asking about eta on F150 Ecoboost shudder, engine miss and loss of power fix. She requested my truck info and dealer and phone number ...we'll see where it goes. Probably the same place as everyone else "...we're working on a fix." which I've known for the last 2 months.

People should be posting on Ford's FaceBook page continuously ...we need to get some attention outside of dealer complaints/visits.

They contacted me too, and opened a case with Ford. They actually listed all the fords I have owned up to the 97 Exploder I had. They extended the warranty in my truck as an interim until the problem has been found and fixed.

A free extended warranty would be nice but frankly after experiencing the fall on its face problem my wife won't even drive it any more . . . mine will get fixed by month 11 or it's got to go.

The thought of becoming a splattered bug on the grill of an on coming semi on US50 trying to pass someone because my truck has lost all power or just having NO faith in my truck's ability to accelerate out of a problem in a pinch combined with [now] five other problems they can't fix and all the extra money I'm going to blow on fuel down 4-5mpg in the meantime =

My wife won't drive mine either. The very first time we went for a ride together after I picked it up at the dealer it all but died taking off from a stop sign at a 'T' intersection on a sharp corner. As luck would have it the truck went about 10 feet into the oncoming lane and lost all power just as a car came around the corner at us. I freaked out thinking it had died, mashing down on the accelerator did nothing and all in the 3-5 seconds my wife is screaming at me asking what the hell I was doing ... talk about a complete 3-5 second cluster-duck ... if the car hadn't slowed down and basically stopped it would have T-boned us big time. Talk about losing confidence in a vehicle ...and I even paid cash for it otherwise I would have driven it back to the dealer and parked it. It has gone downhill from there as now I have the shudder and engine miss. I have never owned a vehicle that has this many problems that has never set a check engine light. And to top it off it's my first ford after owning GM products all my life. So much for the other side of the fence. To top it off this week I discovered my windshield washers don't work, at all.
