Bob_Mac: Just curious if you or your dealer have discussed this with Ford Corporate to let them know that this may have fixed it so they could send out a TSB?
The service manager is out on vacation but I will discuss it with him upon his return.

I hope so...my truck is so smooth running now and according to the "Mode 6" it showed my truck missing all the time but worse under load which was at 55-60mph in 6th gear.

My EB goes in Thursday morning this week for this. I have prepared my one page document to give to the technician explaining what to look for

Indeed. Us EB owners are anxious to get this fixed.

And if your dealer doesn't want to listen to the information you have then find another dealer. They seem to assume that anyone who doesn't work on these vehicles for a living knows nothing about them. Or, at least, they assume anything coming out of our mouths is complete bulltihs and should be disregarded.

Just wanted to pipe in here real quick...I have the Android App "Torque" along with the ELM327 BT ODBII dongle and have loaded the "Ford Enhanced PID's", with this I can monitor misfires when driving the truck. So with this in mind I am going to watch and see how things go. I'll keep everyone posted.

Exactly! This is the only reason I have held off going is the pain of talking to the SM what the issues are. Sometimes one gets lucky with good a SM or technician that is willing to do more than listening to what the manufacture tells them. This is also why I put a one page document together that I can give to the SM and to the technician describing the issues and added my direct contact info if they have more questions it what I have written in the document. Times have changed in the ways consumers can communicate possible solutions with social media (like forums). We are not always right but many times it points them in the right direction and the wheel does not need to be recreated all the time.

Wow, this just blew my mind. Watching the Torque app I couldn't get it to monitor the misfires. So I did some reading and it was suggested to see if there are any DTC's present and guess what, I am seeing a P0315 DTC which is "Crankshaft Position System Variation Not Learned". So after further googling I found the attached pdf explaining more about misfires and the "Misfire Neutral Profile Correction".

P0315 Description: The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor signal is monitored by the Engine Control Module (ECM) for errors. The P0315 code is set when ECM is unable to learn and correct for mechanical inaccuracies in crankshaft pulse wheel tooth spacing.

Let's see what Ford says now! FYI, the truck is still running great and I still have no shudder....

Where/how have you loaded the Ford Enhanced PIDs? Is this a plugin for the Torque app?

Many thanks for all your research and info!
