As I stated in the other thread, I took my truck in the other day for this same issue, and they found cylinder 5 misfiring, but nothing from with the physical parts. Hopefully the new reprogram will also fix my issue. Thanks!

My dealership installed an update last week. I am assuming that this doesn't do the same thing as what cleared up the problem?

It is begining to really get annoying having to drive a NEW truck that is doing this every time I try to accelerate a little or come upon a hill.

I plan on stopping back in sometime this week to let them know the problem still isn't fixed.

An update will not clear up your problem since this points to the plant needing to do this prior to release. You need to ask your dealer to look into the "Misfire Neutral Profile Correction" and ask them to look into it.

Last night my wife and I went out to dinner and I payed very close attention to the truck. I noticed that the truck is running smoother and the throttle response is snappier, gas mileage seems to have improved as well. Drove up a 2 mile incline with CC on at 55mph and still no shuddering. I will keep monitoring it and will watch mpg closer as I really feel this has improved.

Good stuff Bob_Mac.

I believe my truck is also suffering from this same problem? Just maybe this will be a solution to what seems like exceptionally horrible MPG from my truck as well? Seems it jerks/surges when accelerating up even small hills at around the same speed you are stating? Don't know if this is the same as a "shudder" but the jerkiness seems a little odd?

That is exactly the issue we are calling "shuddering", the jerkiness when going up inclines at approx. 55-60mph.

Thanks for this. Anybody have plans to do this on an Ecoboost soon and see if it takes care of it on that also? From the information it appears it would, but would like to hear from somebody with an Ecoboost. My dealer has been called and told to look into this as I may try and bring mine in after the New Year.

Bob_Mac: Just curious if you or your dealer have discussed this with Ford Corporate to let them know that this may have fixed it so they could send out a TSB?

OK...I thought it was just me, but when towing my boat, my truck seems to be missing ALL THE time. IT's annoying as hell! I haven't really noticed it under normal driving conditions though. After reading this, it seems like you may be onto something.
