Well its gonna be a trailer queen for awhile, for the 8-lug conversion it's $450 a wheel.($1,800) and the brakes that go along with it are $750 per wheel.($3,000) And thats not even counting the headache of finding someone to pass inspection.
And with that being said I've been looking at the 23.1x26 R2's (65") rice and canes($2,000). But will have to upgrade axle shafts oversions 2" 47 spline($6,000 front and rear) to handle that massive of a tire and high HP.
So thats where I'm at on the tire end of the build and trying to figure out if I want to keep it sane with the 52's or go all out retarded with the 23.1 r2's
It's stupid... I guess because the kit uses a corvette 6 piston caliper. Hubs and calipers 4,800
Theres another kit thats ($1,800 front and rear) and the guys Machines Chevy 14bolt hubs and wilwood calipers, That I actually think looks better but it's been under a revision since this time last year. Hubs and calipers
yeah I would be the one setting it up, I don't trust people working on my crap, I'd rather it get torn up from my mistake, than to wonder well..... Did they.......
My name is Frank Contreras and I just want to reminded everybody that if you put on some aftermarket product like bigger wheels or some kind of programmer it's going to void your warranty. Even if you only have your truck for a day. i.e. my 05' F150 with 40,363 miles on it will need a new transmission. You can look at my pics. on what I've done to make it look better doesn't mean it will make it run any better. I've learn a important lesson, this company's what to poin the finger at each other for the problem. Ford points the finger at bigger wheels and Edge Evo Programmer, and the aftermarket people what to point at a bad Tranny from Ford. No matter how I look at it I'm going to be out $3000.00
Thank you for your time and good luck with any forcoming projects you have planned for dream machine

^^^^ I just got a headache reading that.
Warranty my truck??? thats funny!
Sorry to ya man, But I would have put the factory tune back on it and took off the wheels and tires. You wouldn't have been out 3g's

So I have pretty much everything figured out to do the tilt front end. Just hope everything works out in real life like it is in my head. Never does haha
Well in doing so I'm gonna have to do a remote mount radiator, so I'll be putting it behind my cab, along with my battery
Better weight transfer, and more engine coolant capacity for better cooling.
Looks like the next time I go in I'll start working on the front end. I believe I have almost eveything out of the way to cut it off. Sawsall time
