I just don't understand when adults are trying to have a grown up conversation on a forum about something we all have in common, there has to be some trolling smart ***..If you have an opinion I'm cool with that, sometimes when your trying to be funny in written txt ,it comes across differently, but some people just like being anonymous trolling smart asses .

Sorry I find it futile to make remarks about MPG from trips you've taken in a truck you already own!

My wife got a deal on a 2014 f150 SC xlt 5.0 4x4.
People ask her all the time about her heel milage.
She said I drive trucks. Like the power of the v8.
I sit up so I can see. I'm 5' 2"

Don't care about fuel milage. When it gets to 1/2 of a tank I go fill up.
If I was only interested in fuel milage I would of gotten a car that gets 40 mpg.
But Houston floods out a lot. You can't drive a car threw high water to get home either.

Then why reply on a thread about gas mileage,if you don't care ,start a "I don't care about gas mileage" thread, to let everyone know you don't care, I am sure there are plenty of people that feel the same way you do

I'm not anonymous when I say that no one has the right, except the Admins, to tell other members what they can and can't post. @Skipper14 had an opinion. Even if it's contrary to what you think, it isn't anyone's responsibility to call him out on it. And seriously, these are trucks, and some people don't worry about mpg. That's an opinion, correct? Is this how all new members are treated around here?

Benjy for some reason doesn't like me very much and feels the solution to my pointless comments is to comment on them lol.. No need to derail the thread over him though, I wasn't looking to do that. Apparently some on this forum look down on anyone who tries to have a little fun while spreading quality info. Thank heavens for the ignore feature

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming!

Everybody should be welcome on all the threads.
Dont see where anybody that starts a thread owns it, they control it.
And there is no reason. For them to come on here and act like they do.

280 mile blast on interstate 80+MPH Gauge said 18.5 average mpg, fuelly says 18.1. Love that result. Did a 30 mile round trip to the county seat (interstate, mostly) at 60 except the short surface streets, gauge says 26.6. I think I got a good one!
