We have ecoboost engines and that is what we are talking about. The tolerances in these engines are very tight and breaking in the vehicle does a lot for us.

Looks like I'll really get to check the mileage on my truck this week we are driving 3300 miles round trip for a graduation...can't wait to see how the ecoboost does.

I had a 1990 4x4 straight cab long bed with the same rear end you have (3:08). I was beating the 5.0 for mileage.

I'm at 7000 miles (11,000km). My latest trip was 273 miles using 86.2 liters of fuel (regular) filling up at the same pump. It works out to approx. 12 mpg (US). That includes pulling a 21 foot travel trailer (5500 1bs) at about 1/3rd of the trip. The difference between the fuel computer and my manual calculations was 2/10th of a mpg so I think the fuel computer is pretty good. When I'm driving without the trailer and driving conservatively I will get about 18.5 mpg (US) or 12.7 L/100km.

Overall, I'm a happy camper!

Ok, show the trip computer for the mileage or it does not count.

LOL, doesn't "600 mi to E" count for something? I drove like a 90 year old grandma for 500 miles for that!

Yeaha no. My truck says that every time I fill the tank and reset the computer on the drive home.
