Bought a used 2016 XLT - Sports Package - SCrew - 3.5 L V6 TT
Front was leveled and had All Terrain tires
Approx 30k miles total

I've had it for about 5,000 miles. Mix of city streets and interstate. Have averaged 15.5 mpg to 16.3 mpg with the above (according to the dash gage.) I thought I'd do a bit better than that for mpg. A little disappointed.

What gears are you running? I have a 2.7 Liter with 3.55 gears. OEM tires that I maintain at 38 psi and rotate every 5000 miles. Have a 2018 Lariet on order with same driveline except with the 10spd. Hoping to equal the performance of my 2015. PS... Have never "floored" my ride, run Amsoil, and hand calculate MPG. Dash computer runs about 7% higher.

Now that the warmer weather is here, and with the recent change of plugs, wires, cap and rotor, I'm seeing about a 1 mpg increase. Got 19.6 out of the last tankfull! Every little bit helps since I'm driving about 90 miles a day back and forth to work! And I'm sure the new pinstripes I put on helped a bit too

Row BTrice, If you know the rear number, might be helpful in explaining why the low mpg. I have the 2011, 3.5, with the 3.73 rear. I didn't consider that when I bought it. My average over 33k was only 13.9. For some unexplained reason, I am all of a sudden getting better mpg, 18-19. My new truck will have the 3.31 rear. Son has that in his truck, and gets 22 mpg on road trips, 6.5 bed with the 5.0 engine

Sorry for delay DD in KY and Stevehin, my Axel code is L9 and that looks like 3.55 gears. I don’t floor my ride either. Usually very easy on the throttle and try to keep RPM’s below 2,000

Another highway trip - 560 miles, roughly, 22.2 calculated mpg using Fuelly. I'm impressed with that. Speeds, 70-76 on the interstate, 55-65 in cities and most secondary roads, I'd say about 10% city driving if that.
3.5 ecoboost, 3.31 axle, SCREW cab, 2017 10 speed.

2018 F150 Lariat 4x4 sport 5.5 super crew 3.5 10 speed 3:55 max tow. First road trip 25 mpg at see level in the Carolinas once back in Pa 22/23 mpgs @ 65/75 mph.
Cool
I get my alignment from a local shop that's does nothing else but alignments - sets toe @ 0 degrees and I run my tires at 40/45 psi, winter I drop down to factory and it does increase traction in snow but summer I run them higher and this helps with the MPG.
