Disagree. My dads Caddy has that. I have no interest in it.

Both of our cars are completely keyless now (been so for the 1 month I've had the truck, hers was a couple years ago), and it's pretty awesome. Unlock, start, stop, lock, rinse, repeat, keys in pocket and hands free to do other things the whole time.

Which means, among other things, that I don't drop my keys anymore!

It also means that I never, say, get into the car in the garage at home and then, once seated, realize I have to dig the sumbitches out from deep in my front pocket while seated which is a rather large first world problem annoyance is that a car key in your pocket or are you just happy to see me

Now, if only this Ford key fob wasn't nearly the size of an old school little flip phone, I'd be even happier about having to have it in my pocket. I mean come on this thing is freaking HUGE

I agree, but I bet it is intentional so folks don't complain about being small and too easy to lose.
Lincoln has the 'your phone is your key' option, which I think will be pretty cool once it gets distilled down to Ford.
Maybe face recognition is the next logical step?

Doubt it anytime soon you'd need multiple cameras looking outside the vehicle to cover all doors and tailgates plus face recognition on phones now is one of the less secure options

You have a couple of years on me, but I will agree. Reminds me of my van. Truck is cheap and doesn't have a button.
If you don't like keys you should see the "thing" a friend has for his van. It looks like a Fingers On Buttons but the end is square and you plug it into a square hole in the dash.
