Chevy VS Ford
all i have to say is my grandpa is a cattle farmer in ky and he has a 87 f350 straight shift with a 460 in it, it has over 300,000 miles on it not a gauge works on the dash and it is still the startinest truck i have ever seen, has leaks all over the block and everything else, the only thing ever done to it is a new transmission in it which is expected after haulin massive loads and do hard work, but i can still go out in the dead of winter turn the key start it up and haul hay on its flatbed, that is enough proof for me to last me a lifetime so there is only one brand for me and it has a blue oval on the front!!!!!!!!
so ford all the way
so ford all the way
I'm surprised to see no one has mentioned the f-series truck is the best selling VEHICLE, not tuck, in the WORLD for the last 30 years. That is a car and drive stat and consumer report.
I second (third or eight... whatever) the over plush seats in the chevy, comfy for the first 10 min, then my back will start to tighten up.

I USED to be a chevy pickup fan. Buying a new truck every few years, and then always putting up with crappy shifting, and noise from the rear end, and squeaks & rattles on the interior. The last straw was my 07 Avalanche started to clunk when down shifting, and the dealer said that it was normal noise, and within specs. A $47,000 clunker. Nice. Finally tried a ford, and never been happier!!! Drives better, rides better, looks better, and even, it seems, easier to wash for some reason. Yippee, finally happy after 25 years of truck buying!!!
