He made me read my VIN twice to him because he couldn't get it through his head that my pickup DOESN'T have a compatible radio and insisted I use the free trial. He then tried selling me the streaming-only service which is 'impressively' $3 per month higher than my pickup plus streaming. I don't know. I love my truck but these first world problems are annoying... Ha ha.
their customer service is sooooo tough to deal with, I hate calling in and arguing every 6 months. If it weren't for a few specific channels and shows/DJs I'd just get spotify premium or something.

Ya, I guess when they bought the truck and called in the number it put it on their account and killed yours.

Now that you know thats what happened I'd see what deals you can find on the website (or when they start mailing you non-stop) you can get on streaming only. If I call in at billing renewal and they don't immediately give me what I want I just hang up and call back vs arguing with someone.

THAT'S what got me salty... After years of doing that every 5 to 6 months based on what the current "best offer" was, this last time I called I thought I hit the jackpot where I was paying like $5.35 per month and just a recurring billing that didn't expire (well according to the customer support, I was still planning to call to check in on that..)

According to the 2023 order guide, an F-150 Lariat comes standard with Connected Navigation and Sirius XM. Is Ford back to including this technology? I was planning to order a 2023 this week.

We were informed by the dealer it is very unlikely it'll come with one unless it's a 502A. We wanted to order two 2023 F-150 Lariats.

I think connecting thru your phone to listen to music while driving on the highway is crap - if you spend any time on the road and drive thru dead zones.
We have far too much of Arizona without good cell service.
Glad we like our current truck.
By the way, wasn't really thrilled with the ride of HDPP, will probably look again in a year to a 2024, see what is offered then.
Good luck everyone - GO Chiefs!!!

I won't be ordering a 2023 if this is the case for Platinum models. Honestly this removal is the last straw for me

LOL, and so it starts. I'm not sure if this is a new form of chess level marketing or not, but this seems rather counterintuitive. You've right now got the used vehicle market prices declining rapidly, and Ford (and others) are busy force deleting options seemingly at random, providing $150 dollar discounts for your trouble, while continually raising msrp to the point the vehicles are now 10k - 12k more than they were 14 months ago. Genius level marketing.
