Satellite radio just isn't selectable as an option. You sittl have AM/Fm, Bluetooth, and Android Auto/Carplay. The Nav is just the "dumb" map you get if you didn't sign up to keep the Connected Navigation (which I'm sure a lot of XLT owners were already rocking, since the trial was only 90 days from new).

I wish this was the case... You're correct on the media part, but there is NO navigation option. At least on mine. The only way to see any nav is through Android auto.

Wow, not even the standard map is available? That's atrocious.

not according to my window sticker - it shows am/fm stereo - that's it.
however, there is this listed - fordpass connect 4g hotspot telematics modem
I'm quite confused how this technology is available, but there's no Sirius or navigation.
I'm very curious what the truck will actually have once built and delivered.
I will wait for it to arrive, to test drive finally, an F-150 XLT screw with HDPP.
These HDPP trucks are unicorns.

My sticker also says am/fm stereo no mention of sirius on the window sticker. my truck is a train somewhere between Kansas and Pennsylvania, at this point after waiting so many months I'll basically take anything that shows up with my name on it!

I wonder if the issue here is something like the GPS/Satellite antenna, and not necessarily anything with the hardware. That would explain why they don't even offer the dumb map screen. The cell modem is different antenna and system.

In the same boat here, but in the end I'll take the truck and get over it. It IS certainly pathetic that a 70k (cad) new vehicle doesn't have nav/sat radio, but refusing it and ordering a '23 basically makes nav/sat a $4000 option if the rumored msrp price increases are accurate. No way a dealer will honor the '22 order price for a radio option. Another thing to consider is if I did reorder a '23, come November Ford may just say they are deleting it again anyway... Then I'd be out the extra money and the nav/sat.

That is almost certainly the problem. They either don't have enough satellite antennas or satellite receivers. Both GPS and Sirius run off the same system. If I had to wager, I'd guess it was the receivers that they don't have. If it were an antenna, they'd easily be able to dealer add it back when stock came in, it's a simple harness plug-in under a cap on the roof. The receivers on the other hand will be buried in the dashboard and perhaps even integrated into the motherboard for the console. It's currently listed as unable to be added back later (so the rumor is), and that would make sense as Ford ain't going to be forking over brand new multi thousand dollar screens and hardware.

I tried to order a 2023 XLT with HDPP - no longer available.
HDPP is only available on XL models in 2023.
Not sure if I want such a bare bones truck. Wait and see I guess.
My 2022 order with HDPP is scheduled to arrive in about 3 weeks,
I look forward to finally driving an HDPP. I'll update after I drive it.

So, I met with my dealer (Fleet Mgr) today to check out the truck (501A) that is ready, but has had the Nav/Sirius XM deleted and that is my one big gripe.

To get similar functions, we connected my iPhone 12 and CarPlay connected pretty nicely and maps popped up along with some other things. It seemed to work pretty well. I haven't tried SiriusXM, but am more of a Spotify user, so not sure this is going to impact me too badly. Cell service isn't too much of an issue for me 95% of time and I think NOT having the functions incorporated will mostly impact resale value albeit 10+ years away. He also offered to discount by $425 to make it work and I am otherwise set to take delivery tomorrow.

Am I missing something?
