The Powerboost is a 99.00 upcharge from the regular Ecoboost. It's a no brainer IMHO. The freeway MPG's are the same but the city MPG's are much better if you can keep the battery charged driving it in electric mode.
The option of power in the bed is nice. I see no downside at all in the buying a Powerboost over the Ecoboost.

It's only $99.00 more than the $2,595.00 what the 3.5 Eco Boost was in my 2021 F-150 i had if so that's pretty cheap IMO and i didn't know that?

Wow! Just Wow! my MY22 Power Boost had a $2500 up charge for Power Boost, plus $750 for the 7.2 Kw generator.

According to Ford Build and Price a 2025 Lariat without any options nothing changed on the site except the engine:
3.5 Ecoboost price $68820
3.5 Powerboost price $68035
That is NOT a misprint. I know that does NOT sound possible but it is what the Ford Build and Price web site says.

Wow…Ford is really pushing hybrids!! Good for them! Powerboost (with 7.2 gen) is insanely good IMHO.

I really don’t know why anyone would buy a 3.5 Ecoboost when you can get a Powerboost for the same price. My 23 KR was $77035 retail. The exact same Ecoboost with a locking rearend which comes standard on the KR was $470 more.
Now let me think pay more and not get the hybrid, na don’t think so.

Some folks require more payload for towing, that would be the main reason for buying an Ecoboost. The payload numbers on Powerboost are low, the small fuel tank may also be a limitation for some.

Certainly true about the smaller gas tank when towing. However, when not towing, I have to stop well before the truck needs to.
